Sepalcure “Pencil Pimp”

Today New York’s Sepalcure (aka production duo Braille & Machinedrum) have released a music video for the lead single from their forthcoming, self-titled debut LP, which is due out on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings on November 21st.

The video’s pretty confusing, but the track is sounding great, and has me really looking forward to the album’s release, which even got a short review by Spin Magazine.  Check the artwork & full tracklisting below..

01. Me
02. Pencil Pimp
03. The One
04. See Me Feel Me
05. Eternally Yrs
06. Yuh Nuh See
07. Breezin
08. Hold On
09. Carrot Man
10. Outside

Certainly a bright future for these cats, this album is following Machinedrum’s essential debut LP Room(s) on Planet Mu that was released earlier this year, and strong releases from Braille on both Rush Hour (the “This Year 3000” single) and, in particular, Hotflush (the “A Meaning” EP) over the past year – check out the Hotflush EP below..

The last track I’ll leave you with is a remix of “Love Pressure” by Toronto’s XI, the track taken from an earlier Sepalcure single on Hotflush.  I had the pleasure of seeing XI & Machinedrum go in on a late-night b2b session in Victoria last month for the Rifflandia festival, and that was a real treat – hope to see more remixes & collabs from these homeys in the future, especially now that both XI & Machinedrum live in Berlin!

Stay in tune with Sepalcure via their website, soundcloud, facebook, & twitter..
